Clint just finished 3 new tank drums. They are sold and more are in production. These drums sound like chimes, can be tuned to your specs. They are made out of recycled propane tanks. Tuesday, February 24th, 2009We at www.goatskins.com are eagerly awaiting the arrival of the next container. It’s under sail in the Atlantic and should be here within the next couple of weeks. It is very exciting to unload a container. Yes, it takes physical work, however it is so cool to cut the lock and be the first to see the contents. Obvioulsy helpers get first dibs on buying and we give fabulous deals to those who help.

Wednesday, February 11th, 2009It’s been another interesting week at http://www.goatskins.com. We went to Charlotte for the Not So Silent Auction presented by www.drumstrong.org. The music was fabulous. Their next event will be “the mother of all drum circles” a drum-a-thon on May 16th and 17th. It’s all about raising money for and awareness of childhood cancer.
Then it was Shorty’s birthday. He worked hard all day and then relaxed with a few old friends.
Today Shorty went to a place to pick-up recycled propane tanks. Clint and Shorty plan to be very busy making them into tank drums. They will come in different keys and different colors. Very exciting.
Not So Silent Auction
Monday, February 2nd, 2009Sandy and I are heading to Charlotte, NC to attend the “Not So Silent Auction” presented by Drums for the Cure. Djembe Drums & Skins, www.goatskins.com donated a djembe to this fundraising event for the Levine Children’s Hospital. So we decided to go paricipate. Check it out and www.drumstrong.org.
